GUIDELINES

• All entries must be visible from a public road in the Eddyville/Blakesburg school district.
• Entries must be constructed of natural snow. Added color, clothing, and props may be used.
• There is no limit on the number of entries submitted.
• Photos should be no larger than 5x7. Photos may include the builder(s) with their snow creation. Photos must have the following information on the back: Name of snow creation, name(s) of builder(s), address of entrant(s), and a contact phone number.
• Photo entries may be dropped off at the library or mailed to: Eddyville Public Library, 202 South 2^nd St., PO Box 399, Eddyville, Iowa. For more information, call the library at 641-969-4815.
• Winners will be notified on March 2, 2010.

2009 Eddyville Holiday Lighting Contest. 
Sponsered by the Eddyville Community Betterment Committee.

Any Eddyville resident or business may participate.   All you need to do is help light up Eddyville for the holidays. 
Participants are asked to turn on their lights by 6:30 pm on Wednesday, December 16th. 

The judges will be looking for displays that show: neatness, placement of lights, coordination of colors, and eye appeal. 
This year, cash prizes will be awarded to 3 residental winners and 3 business winners. 
(1st place: $25.00,  2nd place: $15.00, 3rd place: $10.00).  
There will be 6 honorable mentions.
