Monday  March 9, 2009

The Council of the City of Eddyville met in special session on Monday, March 9, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall, Mayor Johnston presiding.

Council Members present: Doug Greenlee, Richard Shepherd, Jim Durst, Larry Harding, Dwight Lobberecht.

Council Member absent: None

The Mayor announced that this was the time and place set for a public hearing on the 09/10 proposed budget. There being no written or oral objections Durst moved, seconded by Harding to close the hearing at 7:02 p.m. AYE: 5. NAY: 0. Motion carried.

Harding introduced Resolution 2009-03-004 and moved its adoption, a resolution to approve the 09/10 budget as presented, seconded by Shepherd.  AYE: Shepherd, Durst, Harding, Lobberecht, Greenlee. NAY: 0. Resolution passed.

Mayor updated the council about the sewer and lagoon grants. There maybe the need for lots input from the public and council should be aware of the work ahead.

 Mayor also updated the council about the STP grant about asking for more money also delayed the project by a month.

 Meeting adjourned 7:12 p.m.
