Eddyville.org is a website that has been created with the idea of keeping the small community of Eddyville, Ia. informed.
This is a personal website. Owned and maintained by the webmaster during his spare time. The software, server, internet connection, hosting, domain registration & DNS management all cost money, which the webmaster pays out of his own pocket.
The site receives a few small donations throughout the year, for example the Ruritans of Eddyville make several donations throughout the year to help with the maintenance cost of the site. My personal thanks goes out to the Ruritans for their continued support.
You will also notice a few Google Ads on various pages. These are in place to generate a little income as well, however it is very small.
This site is not affiliated in any way with the City. Content regarding City council meetings and other city news are provided by the city so that people can have another method of being informed.
