The Council of the City of Eddyville met in special session on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in City Hall, Mayor Johnston presiding.
Council Members present: Doug Greenlee, John Simmers, Jim Durst, Wendell Terrell, Dwight Lobberecht.
Council members absent: None.
Lobberecht and Simmers are on the finance committee and they reviewed their recommendations for the budget year 10/11 line by line.
Simmers introduced Resolution 2010-11 and moved its adoption, a resolution to proceed with budget as presented by the finance committee, seconded by Durst. AYE: Greenlee, Simmers, Durst, Terrell, Lobberecht. NAY: 0. Resolution passed.
The council also reviewed the paper work that Ron Richards, President of the Eddyville Development Corp. provided them. The council had several questions and would like Mr. Richards at the regular meeting Feb. 1, 2010.
