The City of Eddyville met in special session on Monday, November 30, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, Mayor Johnston presiding.
Council members present: Doug Greenlee, Jim Durst, Larry Harding, Dwight Lobberecht.
Council members absent: Richard Shepherd.
Chris Bowers with AREA 15 RPC was present to inform the council of the award of CDBG Disaster Recovery Funds in the amount of $4,101,680 with no local match. This is to construct a floodwall around the wastewater treatment lagoons, reline 10,380 LF of sanitary sewer lines and complete lift station improvements.
Lobberecht introduced Resolution 2009-11-015 and moved its adoption, a resolution to approve the CDBG Storm & Sanitary Sewer Administration Assistance contract with Area 15 RPC, seconded by Harding. AYE: Durst, Harding, Lobberecht, Greenlee. NAY: 0. Resolution passed.
Harding moved, seconded by Durst to table Signature Authorization for Alternate signators until the new council takes over in January 2010. AYE: 4. NAY: 0. Motion carried.
Durst introduced Resolution 2009-11-016 and moved its adoption, a resolution to approve the Residential Anti-displacement and Relocation Assistance Plan, seconded by Greenlee. AYE: Harding, Lobberecht, Durst, Harding. NAY: 0. Resolution passed.
